AUM host loading checklist for VoxFix AUv3
A practical check for loading VoxFix AUv3 in AUM and confirming the vocal chain behaves as expected.
AUM is the primary validation host used for the first VoxFix AUv3 release.
Passing a simulator package check is useful, but it does not replace a real host workflow check. AUM can expose host-specific behavior around plugin UI, audio routing, session save, reload, and automation.
Minimum loading flow
- Install and open VoxFix so iOS registers the embedded AUv3 extension.
- In VoxFix, confirm the free preview state and Pro unlock state behave as expected.
- Open AUM and create a microphone or audio-file channel.
- Add VoxFix AUv3 as an effect plugin.
- Confirm the plugin UI opens without crashing.
- Speak or play vocal audio through the channel.
- Move Clean, Presence, and Space and listen for a clear before/after difference.
- Toggle Bypass and confirm there is no obvious pop.
- Save and reload the AUM session.
What to listen for
The product promise is not maximum processing. It is a faster path to a cleaner, steadier, more forward vocal.
That means the check should focus on audible control response, stable bypass, reasonable levels, and confidence that the plugin belongs inside a mobile music session.
